- Brenntag achieves “Gold” rating in 2025 assessment and is among top 3% of all rated companies worldwide

Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has maintained a strong performance in the comprehensive EcoVadis sustainability assessment of 2025 and has been awarded with the gold medal. Brenntag is placed among the top 3% of companies across all industries and regions assessed by the independent sustainability experts of EcoVadis following adjusted scoring methodology in 2025.
EcoVadis reviews and evaluates the performance of more than 150,000 companies across 250 industries and over 185 countries in the four areas of environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. In May 2024, Brenntag achieved an overall score of 81 points for the first time which led to a reconfirmation of its Platinum ranking status. This year, Brenntag held overall scoring stable with a result of 80 points, including major performance improvements in subcategories in the areas of labor & human rights and ethics. Due to a change in scoring methodology, this assessment leads to a Gold medal for Brenntag in 2025.
